I would suggest you request your question be moved to the Ports Of Call, Europe board. Because you're getting answersfrom all cruisers, not just us Princess folk.

I had a question and after posting there had my answer in about five minutes.

Check out Tours By Locals.

 

I found a great guide through that website for a small group on a turnaround day in Civitavecchia who took us all through the Etruscan countryside and ended with lunch at her apartment prepared by her husband.  It was a wonderful day.
