NZ to SYD, Biosecurity?

Yes,  I guess it seems a touch strange about the shoes not being checked until the next day but thems the rules. Same as the rule about cruises that originate and return to Australia but  overnight in a foreign port are subject to face to passport screening, no one seems to know why, but its the rule. 🤔🤔

We disembarked this morning from the Coral Princess after a cruise to NZ. While on board, we were asked to check our shoes for cleanliness if we had been to a farm, but there was no mention at disembarkation.

It is a question on the declaration part of your arrival card. If you ticked yes, you would be asked about it by a BF officer.
