Haven waiting area at San Juan pier

Taking a Caribbean cruise on the Viva 24-31 March.  Is there a Haven waiting area at the pier?  Can someone share their experience?

There is. It's not fancy, but there was a separate security screening line and waiting area to the far right of the terminal when we sailed from there in April 2023.

 

We found the terminal staff to be very helpful. We were ushered through the terminal to board first.

We boarded at 11 AM as non haven recently. The only wait we had was for security to begin processing people. No lines for check in and no waiting to board.

The earliest official check in time was 11:30 AM.

I don't see much of a reason to even have a haven waiting area.

Good that things went well.  Wasn't always the case.

 

We sailed Gem in Haven.  Driving in early backed way up with two ships.  One long line to go through security exceeding the covered area outside.  Haven area small area in main building.

 

Then Epic came.  They botched the first year, first part of next, then got things going well including separate Haven lines at some point.
