The only experience I have is a friend that traveled with us was travelling with her 18 year old granddaughter who is under drinking age, but old enough to be on Viking.

 

In advance of the cruise Viking would not sell her the package for one person.  It took a meeting with the Guest Services and Hotel Manager to get the approval onboard.
