can the beverage packages be used in the speciality dining rooms?

Hi all, we have never eaten in the specialty dining room and are considering it. 

 

Can you use the classic and premier beverage package in the specialty dining rooms? Is there an extra gratuity to use it? Or charge for drinks?

It varies but, in particular for dining on embarkation night, there are often offers made.  We have had occasion where after dining in a specialty restaurant they would offer a reduced rate to return later in the cruise.  It depends on how booked they are for that sailing.  In our experience the dining packages offered pre-cruise through the planner are typically the better offers.

First-night discounts are usually available in the cruise planner prior to the cruise. Onboard discounts are much rarer than before COVID.
