How many points in casino needed for free cruise offers?

Are "casino offers" only given in regard to gambling done previously on ship?  I apparently booked our current as a "casino offer" (I literally had no idea I did this until I called with a question, and they transferred me over the Casino Dept and they advised such).  Now we do gamble but in no way would I have figured we gambled enough to even have the Casino notice us.  So, I wasn't sure how we even got offered a "casino offer".

The answer is yes, it's based on previous gambling experiences. When you say you didn't think you gambled enough to get any offers, what do you mean by that?  In other words, how much did you think you spent gambling on previous cruises? $100, $200, $500 or more/per cruise? Also what type of cruise offer did you book? Was it a totally free cruise, or $X amount off, or another type of cruise offer? Your post doesn't give enough details to give any insight.

I mean I gamble a few hundred dollars each cruise but I still would never have assumed enough for a "offer".  I only received a discount from the "casino offer" not free.  I'm just quite surprised and can definitely attest that you don't have to spend much to get an "offer" of a discount from the casino.

The secret algorithm is to find who has the most disposable income that can run through the machines.  DINKs, no mortgage, high credit score, high limit credit cards, etc.

We came home from one trip $4k in the hole (prepaid our next cruise haha) and got Elite offers.  We had been on 4 prior cruises, lowly Red Cards, and had never before had a casino offer other than the basic discount plus DOUCasino. We skipped over getaway, premier, and ultra.

We just got off the Elite cruise and have received our first Ultra offers.  Trying to wait for the next round of Elites but the Ultra is looking pretty good.  I like busy casinos.

Now that makes much more sense to me because I do have...no mortgage, high credit score, high limit credit cards, etc. so if that's the criteria then I get it.
