Excursion to doctors cave beach from Montego Bay cruise port

Our cruise ship recently had a port change from Ocho Rios to Montego Bay.  We just wanted a short drive over to Doctor cave beach, but wasn’t sure how safe it is to rely on local taxis. I am aware our state department has issued a  wet recent warning about traveling around Jamaica.  i’d prefer to hook up with a reputable tour company to give us round-trip transportation, even though it’s not that far, and will probably cost us a little more. Does anyone have any suggestions?
