TBruc Posted March 29 #1 Share Posted March 29 Years ago we took a private tour from Naples that was amazing! Positano, then up to Ravello for an Italian feast overlooking the Mediterranean. I would love to do something similar from Salerno. Maybe including a boat ride to view the Amalfi from the water. Any recommendations would be greAtly appreciated. Unfortunately I can’t find the info from our last journey.

You may find it helpful to read past threads containing the word "Salerno" as i think your question has been asked and answered before. And there should be references to ferries between Salerno and Amalfi, also Salerno and Positano. Choose from these https://boards.cruisecritic.com/search/?q=salerno&quick=1&type=forums_topic&nodes=
Rare John Bull Posted March 30 #3 Share Posted March 30 It's pretty straightforward to do what you want independently. Public bus from Salerno to Amalfi, a different bus from there up to Ravello & back or skip Ravello and stay on the first bus to Positano. Buses don't leave the main elevated coast road, you have a 10 to 15 minute walk down thro Positano to the harbour, then back to Salerno by ferry. That gives you views of the coast from on high and from the water. You'll be aware how steep the walk down to Positano - if you're not as fit as you once were walking down rather than up makes sense - but if that's not a problem the other way round might better suit the bus & ferry schedules.
