Interested in a comparison between HAL and a Scenic River cruise?

Question re disembarkation: the top Disembarkation Program shows times through 15:45, meaning someone could stay on the ship until 3:45 (really?).

The Departure List shows the last group as luggage being out by 8:30 w/departure time from the ship as "various."

Are there some people that really stay on, or could stay on, until 3:45pm?

Yes. You are welcome to use the lounge and the public bathrooms. You can eat in the lounge too. We were asked to be out of our cabins no later than 8:30. That said, when we returned from breakfast about 7:45 our room was being turned over. I wasn’t too happy as I had electronics charging and our luggage was still in the room. The day before, with no notice, our toothbrushes had been removed from the glass we had them in inside a cabinet in the bathroom. That was more than 24 hours before departure. I understand the pressure to turnover the cabin but don’t touch my toothbrush!
