How to see Copper Coast from East Dunmore

We are tendering at East Dunmore from 8am-6pm on Celebrity Silhouette in the summer.  Will we have enough time to see the copper coast?  Have never been to Ireland or taken a cruise for that matter!  Any suggestions on how to do this?  I understand that there are no car rentals out of East Dunmore, rather would have to travel to Waterford City to get/return car, so this option doesn’t sound worth it.  I don’t see any excursions offered either.  Is hiring a private driver the best option (any recommendations?)

 

is this worth pursuing or is the timing too tight? Family of 4 with 2 teenagers.

 

any alternative suggestions if this won’t work?  We like beaches and rugged beauty.
