Curious about a Platinum dining restriction

Recommended Posts

I'm going to be Platinum after my next cruise and was looking at the Terms & Conditions.  Just curious about the restriction that the coupons can't be used in the same venue twice.  Any idea why?

I'm guessing they want to encourage people to try different restaurants. Widen their horizons.

I've been told by numerous CruiseNext managers that you can go to the same venue. There seems to be some wiggle-room with respect to certain latitudes benefits. And while it appears that their system might be tracking your use of coupons, it's fairly unlikely that the host/hostess will say no. Heck, some people report that they've been able to use an "extra" coupon (#3, leftover from a previous cruise), others have been turned away. Your mileage may vary.
