Whales!

Planning to do whale watching in Icy Point (unless a better suggestion emerges). We've been on a waitlist got glacier winds but cruise is in a month. Whats our best second option?

We really enjoyed our whale watching trip with Hoonah Travel Adventures. We have gone with G Wind before as well and they are great, but we had an equally good experience with HTA. Here’s a link:

I did the Whale and Drone Tour and LOVED IT.  https://alaskawhalesanddrones.com/ We saw more than humpbacks and (fingers crossed) I may have found a new unidentified whale.  I submitted the tail fluke photo to Happy Whale to see if they know it.  If they don't I get to name it.  The guys are FABULOUS and I would go out with them again in a heart beat.  Definitely worth the money.

Just got home from my Alaskan Cruise. Had an amazing whale-watching excursion in Ketchikan. Got to see orcas and a whole pod of humpback whales, including baby whales!

What excursion did you do on ketchikan to see whales?

It was through princess cruises.

We drove up to Chinook bay( which is known for having good salmon fishing) and seriously some of the best whale watching experience. There was only 4 of us on the boat and the weather was perfect.
