Winemaker_1 Posted July 14 #1 Share Posted July 14 Our cruise has a pre-stay at the JW Marriott on Isola della Rose. Has anyone experienced how SilverSea transports one from Marco Polo to the hotel? Is it a private water taxi to the hotel? I don't see an Alilaguna stop for Isola della Rose. I sure hope they don't put us in a car to Piazzale Roma then put us on the vaporetto. Thanks. Rare spinnaker2 Posted July 14 #2 Share Posted July 14 We stayed at the JW and enjoyed it very much. Silversea had a water taxi take us from the airport to the hotel. The JW had a private launch to Venice on a regular basis, it was very convenient. Be sure and have a cocktail at the rooftop bar of the JW. Incredible views of Venice. Tried to upload photos from the JW without success. Will keep trying. The grounds of the Hotel are lovely for a stroll, and the history is worth reviewing.
