Into the cellar… this is the oldest area of the vineyard. It’s been in this family for 300 years. Before that monks lived in the cellar. Monks carved it out of limestone.

There’s always one group on an excursion. They are throwing a fit because they can’t sit 4 together alone.

First wine, traditional white wine. This is from 2023. A good year. It spent 6 months in the tank. Very fragrant, white flower.  
It’s a wake up your mouth wine.

So the ground closest to me currently is being rested for two years. They rotate sections to rest.

Same group that got mad about not getting just a table for 4 opened their wine outside and just spilled it everywhere on the bus. Danielle is mad. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Taking the scenic way back… not the highway.  But now we have to stop for the bathroom. Wine spiller’s wife had enough that she needed an emergency stop.
