Royal Family Suite Radiance Class

Two couples, each with a 15 year old son. We have a choice of 3 ocean view cabins or one royal family suite. What would you choose?

We've had the Royal Family Suite on Radiance with two young children. It was perfect. I think the 6 you speak of, though, might be a bit 'cozy'.

Oh, I would DEFINITELY find three cabins next to each other and put the boys in the cabin in the middle, framed by a cabin of parents. Ideal, if you ask me.

I've been in the RFS on the Radiance and the Navigator, and I would definitely recommend that you go with three cabins. Otherwise, you'll end up with one couple in the nice (but windowless on the Radiance) master bedroom, one couple in the box-like, also-windowless second bedroom with their 15 year-old in a berth over their heads, and one 15 year-old on the living room sofa bed.

 

If you get three cabins, you (and the teens) will have privacy, three bathrooms versus two, and everyone will have equal accommodations in a real bed (not a berth or sofabed). Happy parents + happy teens = great cruise!

We have 8 guys, going on the Freedom of the Seas in one RFS cabin. It was either that, or 4 insides, but I thought the 1 big room would be more FUN! :rolleyes:

 

Ya got me a little worried now. Can't we just wheel the extra "cot" that they speak of onto the balcony for the person who snores???? ;)

Oh well, at least we get access to the Concierge Lounge!!! :D
