  1. <Gasp> and on Freedom, Voyager and Vision class ships, Junior Suites can't get into Coastal Kitchen at all! It's a travesty!
  2. Sorry. I looked on the first page and didn't see anything. Looks like it is back on page 3. And it's on RC's own website, not the fake blog, now.
  3. Brilliance is being used to shuttle crew around, wherever RC needs to move them.
  4. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-with-confidence CRUISE WITH CONFIDENCE Cancel up to 48 hours before you sail and get a future cruise credit valid to book by April 30, 2022 and sail by December 31, 2022, or one year from the original sailing date, whichever is later. For cruises booked on or before October 31st, 2021.
  5. That's the definition of a jukebox musical. 🙂 And it's "the latest thing" and what RC has decided it will have. (chatted with Simeon about this many years ago) In general, they are cheaper to license and cheaper to stage, with smaller casts and familiar music. I adored Chicago - I prefer the full version, but the abridged version on Allure was great - but many cruisers were appalled. "too dark" "too dirty" "not kid-friendly" "I didn't get it". etc. etc. etc. That's the reason that I have been suggesting for some time now that they have You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Simple, clean, familiar CHARACTERS, although not familiar music for all but Broadway fanatics. And when Kristen Chenoweth was named godmother of Oasis, others were screaming, "Put Wicked on board" - I knew that they wouldn't. I screamed, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." She was Sally in the Broadway revival. 🙂 ETA: And I will never be able to understand or explain their choice of "Cats". I love the show. Some people do. But cruisers, in the great majority, have voted *thumbs down* by either not attending or leaving at intermission or even earlier.
  6. JB is correct. You receive the points for the cabin that you had BOOKED when using a RoyalUp. You get the other perks of your new cabin, but the points remain with the cabin that you had booked. Lesson learned. 🙂
  7. By the way, if you intend to spend your money as you described, RC will still be making good money off of you. Each drink that you buy for (say) $12 does not cost them anywhere neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeear that much. Royal makes plenty of money when you buy drinks individually, possibly more than otherwise.
  8. You seem to be confused about the purpose of Royal Caribbean's pricing practices. It is NOT to "reward its loyal customers." It is to maximize its profits.
  9. Fairness has nothing to do with it. You are entitled to "bar drinks" and the bars only have the half liter size bottles.
  10. I would wait to see what they change you to before getting too upset. Maybe you will like the cabin as much, or more.
  11. As a solo cruiser, *I* would pay $270 to go from JS to GS. For two of you, it's "half" that. So, HELL YEAH.
  12. When this happens to me, I do what Biker suggested and one of those always works.
  13. More specific to your question: https://www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/questions/what-are-the-benefits-of-royal-suite-class
  14. I am sorry that you are upset at just finding out about this, but it has been happening for more than three months now. And I am surprised that your link worked. CC used to block his website.
