Which nights are formal nights on 8 day cruise?

I have heard the first full day at sea is formal night with Lobster in the dining room. Does anyone know which night is the second formal night?

There actually isn't a "formal" night perse. The first full day at sea is the Captain's dinner which also can be the formal night, although only about 25% of the people on the cruise I was on actually dressed formally.

 

So, there really isn't a specific night designated as a "formal" (other than the Captain's dinner) according to the FreeStyles I have in front of me from that cruise.

Formal is optional, not required on NCL ships.

Resort Casual attire is always appropriate.

 

It's almost always on the first at sea day (second night aboard).

and remember FYI,,, you can order the lobster from any resturant you eat in on that day.. we ate at endless summer ( tex mex ) and ordered thelobster , even though that wasnt announced,,

you should have seen the look on peoples faces when our huge tails came.. i learned about that on these wonderful CC boards... :)

It was the maitre d' in Le Bistro that let us know. He told us that if we came back another night, we could do the same thing again. Didn't take him up on the offer, but it was sure tempting.

I'm confused. This is my first time cruising. Is formal nite and lobstser nite the same day. we'll be on pride of america.

Yes, Lobster night or Captain's Gala Dinner night is "optional" formal night.
