Upgrade question for Crown

I have never sailed on Princess before so I was hoping some of you knowledgable Princess alumni could help me out. I booked a cat AE guarantee for the August '06 sailing on the Crown Princess. I received my cabin assignment today and it is a cat AB. However, the price of the AE dropped by $100 pp.

 

Can I call Princess and have that money credited to my shipboard account? If I wanted to upgrade to a regular suite, would the difference in cost be between the AE and the suite, or the AB and the suite?

 

I appreciate any help or thoughts on this.
