Ft. Lauderdale Port/Rental car return

Do any of the rental car companies have a return option at the Ft. Lauderdale port? We arriving on the 16th for our cruise on the 17th, and we have an Alamo reservation. They require that we return it to the airport and take a cab back to the port. Any suggestions to prevent this back-and-forth routine would be gretly appreciated!! Thanks.

There are NO car rental companies at Port Everglades. The closest outside of the Port but not airport is Budget on 17th Street and Thrifty on Miami Drive.

Guess I'll do the taxi thing... BTW, you wouldn't happen to know which berth the Sun Princess docks at, would you :confused:

Most likely Berth One, but then one can never be sure. It will be clearly posted for you at the entrance to the port.

When I called the local Alamo for FLL they told me there is a shuttle that runs between 10:00am and 3:00pm. We are dropping off there (flying into and out of PBI) and picking up from Thrifty which provides a shuttle from the Miami Rd. location.
