Differences in cabin categories

Recommended Posts

I've found the difference between a D1 and D2 (or an E1/E2) is how many people the cabin will hold. Often they are identical, but the "1" version will hold 3 or 4 passengers.

Tracy, You're right, that's exactly what RCCL told me, so I went ahead and moved from the front of deck 9 on the Freedom to a little more mid-ship, went from a D-1 to D-2, same size. Thanks for your help and for posting those fabulous Freedom pictures.
