credit cards

curious question...i have always used cash deposit. (i had bad experience with credit card once on a ship so i am paranoid)

 

we are leaving 4/16 on conquest. i will put my deposit down but should i decide to spend more (? hhhmmm) can i put my credit card down later or get a cash advance or something? how does that work? what kind of hold do they put on your card......we only put so much in our account for our card because it is a debit/credit card.....i was just wondering.

A debit card does not work the way credit cards do.

 

Call your bank NOW and make sure there is no daily limit to your withdrawals on a daily basis. Thats what causes the problems. People have the daily withdrawal and on a cruise they tend to go over that limit.

The cruise lines will take their money all at once on the last day.
