Carnival books cheap air?

Just got my docs for my Med cruise in May. After reading all the threads(and worrying)about Carnival booking the cheapest, most out of the way routes, I was surprised to get a direct flight on Delta from Atlanta to Rome. Only 9.5 hours. I was expecting a 14 hour flight with stopovers in Bagdad and Somalia.

 

Also, fare was about $250 each less than I could get booking on my own.

 

Hope Delta's still around by then.

We've never had a problem with the Carnival air. Always seemed to be the most direct flights possible.

 

Now that you have your docs.............let the count down begin! :D

Any possibility you could take pictures of the daily Capers and post them after your return from your cruise to the Mediterranean? I am going in June and would love to see them before we sail. Thanks.

I just received my docs too and just for curiosity checked out booking the same flights on my own and it was over $1200 more to do it myself. Glad I went with Carnival.

Sorry,but Carnival booked air includes transportation to and from. I'm sure you will be able to find someone that will share. Good luck and hope we have a great cruise!
