mrdood Posted April 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2006 Who is the current CD for the ship? What is the process for mini-golf, do you pick up putters and balls from somewhere? Is there Carnival staff monitoring/overseeing? Crowded ever? Anyone get the names of the Maitre'Ds? Which dining rooms were at which times? When you got on board did they offer more excursions for Progresso? The web site currently only lists two. I have read all the reviews, but did not find answers to those questions - thanks! natvtxn Posted April 16, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 16, 2006 The CD is Rebecca Llewellyn from Canada. I believe you get the clubs and balls from the towel desk on the Lido deck. Windstar dining was 6:15 and 8:30. Windsong dining was 5:45 and 8:00. I hope this helps.

The girls liked the Hacienda's but the 2 guys thought it sucked all the way around. I did Chichen Itza and as I said in my review 5hrs on a bus for 1-2 hrs at the Ruins aint hardly worth it. CruiznWeids Posted April 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted April 17, 2006 MrDood - as Natvtxn said, you can get the clubs and balls from the towel station on the lido deck. They take your S&S number and if you don't return exactly what you took, you're charged $75. I had read on previous posts that other ships were running out of the golf balls because people weren't returning them - guess this fixes THAT problem! It was NEVER what I would call 'crowded' (long waits to play). The most I'd see at one time was 5-6 groups playing (early afternoon it seemed, when Camp Carnival was closed). In the morning lots of times we'd have the course to ourselves. The boys loved it! It was like the burgers and fries - a daily staple for us!! :D
centralcalicruzer Posted April 17, 2006 #5 Share Posted April 17, 2006 Sounds like fun, my kids liked the photos of it, it looks pretty nice. Are they just regular golf balls that they use? It might be worth it to pick up some cheap golf balls before we leave if we think we're gonna play, just in case a few get lost!
