Dry dock schedule?? Can I find one somewhere?

He everyone,

We just returned from the Victory on 4/16 and are looking into booking the Triumph for next April. The PVP we talked to said the Triumph would just be coming out of dry-dock and we would be on the first cruise. But when I look at Carnivals website they are still booking for dates in March. Our sailing date would be April 7th.

If the PVP knows???? that it will be in dry dock then why does it still show up as available on the website?

Is there a site somewhere that will tell you what ships are going in and when?

Thanks for any info.

Lori

According to the site I'm listing below the Triumph was in dry dock 10/23-11/12, 2005. I have no idea how accurate this information is, but that is the only reference to a dry dock schedule I have seen mentioned:

And how long does the typical dry dock period last?

Seems like it is between 2 - 4 weeks depending on what is being done to the ship.

I'm the webmaster of CruiseCal.com.

I post the dry dock schedules as I get them. Sometimes from the Cruise Lines, sometimes I see info about it and call them. The entries in the that blog were probably accurate when they were posted but, the Elation just got out of dry dock. It was scheduled for January. I think the whole Katrina problem messed alot of the schedules up.
