LadyBerard Posted April 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2006 For anyone who has used this company for either the Dawn or Spirit, would you please tell me what time you had to debark the ship when you returned back to NY and what you did until you were able to get on the bus for the return trip home. My understanding is that you do not get picked back up in NY until 1 p.m. Thank you. Sue
Buford T Justiice Posted April 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2006 Here's a prior thread about the bus and times http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=278678 We had a leasurely breakfast and waited in our cabin until called (10:45 ish). Since one of us is a non citizen we had to get our passports first (long line) and then exit the ship. We got off the ship, went through Imm. & Customs, gathered our bags and were outside with the other travelers by about 12:15. We waited about 20-30 minutes for the bus. Our cruise was not supposed to arrive in NYC until 10:00 am. With a leasurely breakfast, final packing, etc. there wasn't that much time to hang around. Also, no one bothered us while we waited in our cabin. As mentioned in the thread, the time waiting for the bus is dependent on the time it takes the bus arriving with passengers for the next cruise to arrive in NYC, unload passengers and baggage, reload passengers and baggage and be on the way...
