Carnival Conquest Ship Time and Excursion Times

Does anyone know if the times listed for arriving and leaving ports of call on the Carnival Conquest are given as eastern standard time or central standard time? It leaves from Galveston, which is on CST.

When booking excursions, are times in Jamiaca, Grand Caymen, and Cozumel EST or CST?

Just back from April 16 cruise, clocks were set to Galveston time and did not change. Carnival and the private tours we did were based on ship time.

Galveston is on CDT not CST this time of year. Cozumel os also on CDT. Jamaica and GC are both on eastern time and don't change to daylight savings time, so for summer cruises no time change in any ports. When Galveston and Cozumel change back to CST in the fall, clocks will be changed for Jamaica and GC.

okay, so Cozumel and Galveston are in the same time zone? Also with the ports being gone in Cozumel what are the hours we will be there? Does anyone know if Cozumels ports will all be rebuilt by november? ty:)

Sorry about saying Galveston is on CST. I live in Houston, but I was thinking about generally, not right now. But thanks for making the point, Suzy 1212, since it does make a difference.

So if the Conquest docks at 7am and the tour operator in any of the ports (Jamiaca, Grand Cayman, Cozumel) says a tour starts at 9 am, that would also be 9 am ship time? Just want to make sure we time things correctly when booking independent excursions!
