What do we do in Fort Lauderdale...???

Our family (daughter 17, daughter 14 & son 12, lovely wife and myself) will be in Fort Lauderdale for two days before leaving on our cruise. We are renting a car and thought about driving down the Keys and doing some snorkling. What other suggestions do you folks have? Places to eat, things to do and attractions to see.

Last Dec we went to the downtown shopping area - Los Olas (?). There are a ton of shops that were open late, and just as many places to eat. It was a great way to spend the evening before our cruise!

:) Think about the airboat ride through the Everglades. We have done it & loved it.

 

Sawgrass Mills is a really big shopping complex - tons of shops and lots of restaurants. You could spend a day in that place.
