San Juan shuttle service from Caribe?

For those who have stayed at the Caribe, does this hotel have a shuttle service to pick you up at the airport or do you get a taxi. What is the approximate cost for a taxi from the airport to the Caribe and from the hotel to the port.

I found a couple of other threads that had some info.

 

From airport to hotel: roughly $16 + $1 per bag

From hotel to pier: about the same.

 

Can anyone confirm?

Those numbers sound pretty accurate for two people traveling together to either of the destinations. When you leave the airport you will see a line for taxi service. Attendant will ask for the destination, # of people traveling and luggage total. She/He will then write up the slip.

 

Ask any of the the Bellhops at the Caribe. They should know just what you should pay to get to the pier. Then double check with driver before getting in the taxi.

 

Plenty of taxis available at the Hilton, day or night.
