Hurricane season - need advice

I didn't realize that it is an almost 6 month season. If one was really wary it makes travelling very limited.

 

Over here we only have a short season of cyclones, always up north, not anywhere near where we live, and that is usually for 3 months at the most but again as you said, they are not fussy and can arrive later rather than earlier.
