Fort Lauderdale hotel recommendations

My husband and I are flying into Fort Lauderdale a day before our cruise leaves from Miami. (Airfare was $200 cheaper to go into FL instead of Miami). Can someone please recommend an affordable hotel close to the airport? We need one that provides a shuttle to/from the hotel and airport because we have to go back to the airport the morning of the cruise in order to use RC's shuttle service. Thank you for your input!!

Near the FLL airport or the MIA airport? It sounds like you mean the FLL airport but just want to be sure.

What is the date of your hotel stay?

If you are going on the Enchantment then you are going out of Ft.Lauderdale.
Double check to make sure you have everything booked correctly.
We have stayed at LaQuinta @ 2620 North 26th Ave., Hollywood, FL 33020
it is below the airport (maybe 5 miles) and has a free shuttle from the
airport to the hotel & from the hotel to the ship. There are stores & plenty
of places to eat right near by. That is the place we are staying for the
same cruise as you are going on. We are paying around $68.00 for the room.

We are flying into FLL on Friday, October 08th. Our cruise (NOS) leaves out of Miami the following day. I can't wait to get all these little details worked out so I can relax! I'm still working on finding a hotel and transportation to/from the port.

Sorry if i'm missing something... but why do you need a hotel with shuttle to/from the port if you need to get back to the airport to get RC's Shuttle service?

All that i can think of is that you flying into FLL but taking RC's shuttle from MIA the following day... but i'm not really sure why you would do that.

Perhaps you can spell out your plans step-by-step and we can probably help a bit more.
