reader5 Posted June 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2006 Thinking of doing the transatlantic cruise in April 2007. Need advice re this type of cruise. Were the seas rough? How is the Century now that it has been refurbished? Were all the staterooms given a facelift? Your responses would be most appreciated.

We did our first T/A last May, 05 on the GALAXY. We enjoyed it so much, we decided to do it again this year...on the CONSTELLATION, April 06. It was a GREAT cruise, despite some nasty weather off of Nova Scotia...35 fts swells.. 65 kts of wind...30 hours. but, the CONNIE rode it out well...if you are concerned about weather, make sure your cruise crosses the southern part of the North Atlantic, where the weather is not so stormy... April is a great time to cross.... In fact...anytime is a great time to cross. :D We practice what we "preach". We are booked again next March on the Millinium for a B2B. ;) (Ft. Lauderdale ~ Bermuda ~ Canary Islands ~ Lisbon ~ Southampton.)
