kryos Posted June 29, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 29, 2004 I was originally booked on the 8/28 Zuiderdam traveling alone. A leisurely seven day vacation. It will now be a working vacation. I'll be collaborating on a book project with another author who just booked today. We are planning on working an average of about three to four hours a day. For those who've sailed on the Zuidy before ... are there any sort of "out of the way" places on the ship where two people can sit down with a laptop computer (no need to be hooked to the internet) with a bunch of written materials scattered about ... and get several good hours of work done? This would most likely take place in the early morning. Any recommendations? Appreciate the help ... Blue skies! --rita kry.os@verizon.net
Krazy Kruizers Posted June 29, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 29, 2004 :) Outside the Internet Center on the Promenade Deck, there is a Java Corner. it is no longer used to serve coffees. Hardly anyone uses that area. There are tables and chairs where you can work in peace and quiet. :)

Sounds perfect! Thank you! Blue skies ... --rita
voyeurism26 Posted July 2, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 2, 2004 If you are looking for a nice quiet place to do work...the oak room is very quiet, its located outside the crows nest. Enjoy your cruise! V26
Stevesan Posted July 2, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 2, 2004 The Windstar Cafe is a good option. The chairs are so uncomfortable that the tables are nearly always empty. Your cabin would be good, too.:)
