Emerald balcony vs. Baja Balcony and RCI balcony vs. Princess balcony?

OK, I have some balcony questions.

 

Emerald vs. Baja

Is the Emerald balconies cheaper because of obstructed views? Are there any balcony cabins on Emerald that are not obstructed?

 

RCI balcony vs. Princess balcony (Grand princess)

RCIs balcony cabins have a small couch and table. The balconies on Princess only has a chair. Is it worth the extra $100 to upgrade to a minisuite on the Princess since I'm used to the extra space on the RCI balcony cabins or will I not miss the extra room on the Princess balcony cabins?

 

I also noticed in the diagrams the chair just sits in the middle of the floor. Isn't this dangerous?
