Dawn casino question/Spirit Casino tip

Can anyone recommend any slot machines that were "hot" on the Dawn??? I'll be cruising on July 29. (type and location greatly appreciated)

And I will also give out a tip for slots on the Spirit-- (which financed my upcoming trip on the Dawn:eek: I made over $700 in various times playing on the "monopoly" NICKLE machine. (right by the "free spin for cruise machine" wedged between two $1 wheel of fortune machines.

I would start off with a $20 bill and if it didn't hit walk away. More than 1 I ran that up to over $100, once I walked away with over $300. (kicking myself b/c I had it over $400) It will hit the bonus game consistently when it is "on" Discipline is the key as it will be very streaky.

Had a great time paying the progressive along the very very back wall (penny machines) didn't win alot, but was able to sit for two hour stretches and just play. (very nice if sitting with friends and want to chat and drink) Stay away from the Progressive "fort knox" pennies. Though I did hit the fort knox for $120, it would rarely hit anything worth while.

I did see a guy hit a decent sized jackpot on the Cigar 2 quarter machine right as you walk in the door.

Woohoo going to look for that machine when I sail the spirit in Nov.

Now as for the Dawn We had some luck on the pink panther 25 cents machine in front of the free spin wheel. There are two of them back to back so make sure the one you play is the one facing the free spin machine.

If I'm remembering right it was 15 nickles per pull for all the lines-- I think to play all them was 20.

I usually started with line X 1, but as the pot grew I would go to line X2.

Mainly played line X 3

When the winning was good and my profit was over $200- I would play a few max bets.

On the twice around bonus feature I didn't waste my time with building extra houses or hotels (it seemed I always LOST money on this feature)

Good luck and thanks for the pink panther tip. Can anyone tell me what types of nickel machines they have (i admit, i'm a sucker for the bonus games!)

When you reach the upper slot area, right across from the progressive machines there are a series of nickle machines. The puzzle game is worth playing as is the Lobsterman? game. (seafood is the theme--but the lobsterman is a woman in this one!)
