Early or Late Dinner Seating with teens

I have two children 12 and 15. Which is the best dinner seating, early or late? I currently have requested late seating, but I want to be sure they will not be missing out on the best teen times? I would appreciate your comments on this.

For those age teens, i would suggest earily seating because there teen disco is only open until 11pm for them. If you eat at 8:30pm, they may only have about an hour with their group.

Ask for main early main seating. All teen activities start aroun 8. Your kids will not want to miss the fun.

 

Last year we had the 6:15 main seating and it was perfect for our groups 6 teens. This year we also requested same time as we are adding 3 more teens. Have fun:)

It depends on your dinner plans. If you expect your kids to eat dinner with you every night, then you MUST have early seating. If you only want them at dinner once or twice, than stick with late. This is what has worked for us.

The early seating is just too early for us and the teens excuse themselves from dessert and still have a blast!

Speaking from experience and having teenagers myself, the main dining/early is best this way the kids can all get together and spend the night hours together. Having late dining doesn't give them many hours afterwards.
