I am sailing on The Monarch and wondered what age you had to be to enter the casino. Also can you use coins in the slot machines or does it go on your sign and sail account. Thanks in advance.

If you're in international waters, you can gamble at 18. If you're on an Alaskan cruise, you have to be 21. You must use real money in the slots or table games. You may obtain money from the casino by charging it to your seapass. I always find it to be better to bring the amount of money I'm willing to lose, and use that to gamble with. If it's all gone, I stop gambling! That way, there are no surprises!!!

Thanks cb at sea! I only play the slot machines and thought I'd bring some change with me. I agree with only bringing the amount your willing to lose. Fewer surprises at the end are better.

Most of the machines only accept paper money, so don't bring change.
