We're booked too, but haven't fully decided if we're really going to do it. My gut feeling says YES!

Let's get some more Tahiti bound people on this thred.

I'm just looking at quotes and airfares for this voyage right now. I'd love to be able to celebrate my 50th birthday (Celebrate? 50th???) in Bora Bora. We were going to wait until 2008 but figured I needed something fun to do for such a big birthday.

Martin - Glad to hear you have booked also. We have since had my Mom and her friend and a someone I work with booked. I have heard such awesome things about this cruise and the Tahitian Islands. I can't wait!!:)

Koolforkatz - You are correct in that you do need to do something big for your 50th!! Can you hear the little voices saying, book, book book!

It is actually screaming "book, book, book"! I've talked my husband into it so now I'm just waiting to get a quote back from my agent. The only thing is we're going on the Sea Princess in March and I was going to wait to book until then and get an onboard credit. I'm afraid if I wait that long, though, I won't get the type of cabin I want on the T.P. Does anyone have any idea how far in advance T.P. voyages usually sell you?

I would book now - you can always get your credit when you make your final payment. The Tahitian cruises are very popular and depending on the cabin you want, you might not get it in March.

Just think - a year from now we'll all be sailing around the Tahitian Islands! That sounds so cool!

If you're a cruise addict like me, get the free DVD Princess is offering on their website. One hour of cruise commercials, but some of the locations are breath taking. Includes Tahiti, too.

Counting the days, Martin

I found this thread way down in the old threads. No activity since 8/06.....

My DH gave me this cruise for Christmas. We have booked the pre-cruise at the Moorea Sheraton.

I have a lot of research to do with the excursions. We usually try to book an independent excursion as it saves a lot of $ over the ship excursions.

We are also celebrating our 20th Anniversary.

Anyone else on this cruise????

Glad to hear you will be joining us! We are celebrating our 20th also and will be staying pre-cruise 3 nights at the Sheraton. How long will you be there? Would love to meet up and say hi!! :)

We are so excited for this one. Will have an OS on the Tahitian. ;)

We are flying out to L.A. on 8/16 and spending a couple of nights there. On Saturday 8/18 we are flying to Papeete and staying 3 nights at the Sheraton Moorea in an OWB. We booked this with Princess. Did you book the Sheraton in Moorea?

Wow, you're staying in an OS. That's great!

So far, we're looking at doing Marc's in Huahine and Bruno's in Raiatea.

Hopefully, as the cruise gets closer we'll get some more activity on this cruise.

Cathy and Frank
