QM2 Golden Lion Pub - Sporting Events?

Does anyone know if the Golden Lion Pub televises NFL or college football while cruising the caribbean? I am somewhat embarrassed to be asking this but the men in our family are wondering if they will have to sacrifice their sports fix during our family Christmas cruise this year!

We just got off the July 3rd Cruise off the QM2 which was 5 days long.

 

One of the special treats on the QM2 is the alternate dining options. We took advantage of that on July 4th and enjoyed Fish & Chips and Steak & Mushroom Pie with draught beers.

 

To answer your question, they do while we were in port and I guest at sea, they do have several TV's above the bar showing sport transmissions. At that time they were showing the World Cup. During out delightful lunch we also watched the Nathan's Annual Frank Eating Contest from Coney Island on ESPN. They have high bar chairs that surround the complete bar.

We were aboard the QM2 in January and remember seeing a group of New England Patriots Fans hovering around the television in the Golden Lion Pub.

 

You only need ask the bar staff to tune in specific game and they will.
