kkettle70 Posted July 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 18, 2006 Hi Everyone, My Husband and I have booked a European cruise on the Carnival Freedom for June 30, 2007. We have already paid our deposit in full. I have always assumed that once the deposit was paid on a cruise you could book shore excursions. Am I wrong? If so, when can we book shore excursions? Also, I was wondering if anyone knows if we should book a room on the port or starboard side of the ship. We are currently on the port side of the cruise ship. We would love to have a good view since we have booked so early. Thank-you in advance for any assistance, Kristai
big_duck Posted July 18, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 18, 2006 Although sometimes available earlier, the target is 180 days out. Patience Grasshopper. As to which way a ship will "park" at a given port, it is a crap shoot, in my case, Murphy's law dicates I will always pick the wrong side of the ship.
