Changing dining preference

We had originally selected Anytime Dining for our cruise to Alaska but after hearing complaints about long lines, we want to change to 1st seating. We are 140th on the wait list. Any suggestions???:confused:

Once on the ship, head to where they are doing dining requests and see what you can do. Tipping may help?? I assume you are on Princess??? I had no complaints about personal choice and it was definately my priority as it allowed me all the time I wanted in ports and on deck. My least preferred time is early seating and late seating, I can count on skipping about 1/2 of them. Determine what your priorities are??? If it's the meals, then try as I mention above.
