Unclear on NCLA Citizenship Docs

Leaving on 8/13 on Pride of Aloha. My MIL is my travel agent and is telling me that we need PP or BC's. What Im reading is all we need for Hawaii, non Fanning Island cruises is just our Govt. Photo ID. Would someone please clarify . I have all our BC's but would rather not drag them along if I dont have to. We'll be flying straight to Honolulu and leaving from there. Thanks in advance !

All you need is your driver's license. You never leave the US and you're on an American Ship.
