CJcruzer Posted August 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2006 we will be on a 3 day St. Pete stop on our cruise - and we have contacted a private tour company and have a tentative itinerary - but I came across the pavolvsk Palace (which is not included) - is this something worth seeing - even tho we are quite filled up with all the other sites??? larablair Posted August 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2006 Probably not included because it is not in St. Petersburg. Looks pretty, nice grounds etc. With everything else to see like Peterhoff and the fountains and park there, probably secondary.
CJcruzer Posted August 5, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted August 5, 2006 Thanks for your response, I think we will pass on it, since it would make one the days quite a lot longer, and we may want to see the folkloric show at night - CJcruzer
larablair Posted August 5, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2006 FYI, if you go to the Oceania thread, I posted a rather long report on our Baltic's cruise. It is in four parts. You will need to scroll down go to previous pages etc.

aqua Posted August 5, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2006 We actually liked that palace a lot. It was very different from Catherine's Palance and Peterhof.
