Tours out of Tortola

What tours can my husband and I do when we get off of our cruise ship in Tortola? We want to know if anyone has done anything other then going over to the Bath's. Want to try to do the tours that aren't through the ship. They seem to be very expensive. Many people say to do the tours on your own. We don't want to cut it too close to when the ship sails. We are in port from 7:00AM to 3:00PM. We have to be back on board by 2:30PM. Is there any tour that someone has done like the Tortola highlights or something like that. Thanks:)

Do the high-lights tour. Not real expensive and they stop of at "Cane Garden Bay Beach". That is a must see and they stay about 1 1/2 hours there then tour again and back to the ship. Don't miss Cane Garden Bay.!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a particular tour company outside from the cruise ship that you would recommend that would take one to see the city highlights & then to the beach (Cane Garden Bay?)

Also, can you give more info about Cane Garden Bay - what makes it a "must see"? thanks
