Need Advice on Best Transportation from LAX to LA Port

We are Flying into LAX at 9:26 am Oct 21. What is best mode of transportation from the Airport to the Cruise Port?

I don't know if it is the best mode...but we used Super Shuttle. I think it was about $14 or $16 pp. We arrived at LAX very late at night, waited outside about 20 minutes for the proper shuttle and then took off to San Pedro. We made a couple of stops for other passengers along the way. It probably took under an hour total...but again, it was late at night and there was no traffic.

 

On our return after the cruise, we had a late afternoon flight home, so we took a ships tour which ended at the airport. This was a great way to kill some time and get dropped off (with our luggage) right at the front door of the airline.

I just booked primetime shuttle based on the recommendations from this board. It's $16 pp to long beach. The reason I chose that one is because they guaranty only 1 stop between LAX and your destination whereas the others have multiple stops.

Just be sure you know which port your ship is leaaving from so you get on the right shuttle. It would be shame to go to SP and see your ship sailing away out of Long Beach:eek: .
