Icy Straight Point

We will be in Alaska and Icy Straight Point on June 25, 2007 and would like to take a whale/wildlife watching trip. Reccomendations please.

We were just in Icy Strait on Thursday and did a wild life search with Kieth of Teckk Outfitters. Kieth of teckk is a third generation Hoonah resident. He is related to half the residents of Hoonah and was without a doubt a highlight of our trip. He also does a whale watch if you prefer that but we had done that with Capt. Larry of Orka Enterprises (another great expidetion!!). Go to teckkoutfitters.com and check him out. If you want real Alaska with a REAL Alaskan this is what you are looking for.

Hi,

Yes we were. We had a great time. We would have done the meet and mingle had we been on our own but we were with a group of 16 of my DH's family members so decided not to do that. Hope you had a great time. It was our first trip to Alaska and we were very happy with everything except I was very dissipointed on Hubbard Glacer day with the rain and fog. Really felt like we missed out on something special on that day. My last suit case just got here finally so better get washing.
