Just reserve a rental car thru Enterprise for Orlando

Hi Just reserve a rental car to drive from the Airport to Pt Canaveral from Enterprise. When we drop off the car at Merritt Island, Enterprise will drop us (2 of us) off at the Port (free). The cost of the rental car is only $46.00, the reason we wanted to go ahead with the rental is we will be arriving at 9:30 am and did not want to wait on Meers Tranportation to fill up and leave, I like getting to on the ship by Noon! We hope this is a smooth transfer. I have drove to the port every cruise except my first trip so never had any probs.....please someone reassure me :)

We just did the EXACT same thing, and also had Enterprise scheduled for the return trip from the ship.

 

Everything went smooth, but expect lines at the Orlando Enterprise. We went one day early, so we had time to sightsee Florida, and plenty of time the following morning to get the rental back. Be aware that on Saturdays, they close at noon.

Thanks Shay! My best friend and I are treated ourselves this cruise so thought we would fly but still want to get to the port early and have a suite, ( so will be in VIP line) but dont want to be inline with a bus load in the security check-in:) ...Just can't wait to get on the Ship!!

We have done the same thing for our trip in October.. only thru Budget...

 

Was much cheaper than the Carnival transfer and you did not have to wait around for the bus to fill up...

Just wondering, when you disembark how do you get back to the Enterprise Rental office? Do they pick you up? Thanks!
