snorkeling from the beach

Hi, Will be visiting curacao in october & would like to do some snorkeling. Does anyone know if you can snorkle from mambo beach & if so can you rent snorkling equipment at the beach?

Curaçao is a "reef island", meaning that you can do shore snorkeling/diving all around it, specifically on the south coast. Depending on your snorkeling experiences you will consider some areas good, interesting or exceptional.

At the Mambo beach you will be snorkeling at the water breakers and there is nearly no corals but you will see a lot of fish.

There is a dive shop that will rent you equipment.

how does Mushroom Forest compare to mambo beach? Are the facilities, restaurants at mushroom forest? is it hard to get to? any info would be useful
