doones2 Posted August 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 19, 2006 Hi, Will be visiting curacao in october & would like to do some snorkeling. Does anyone know if you can snorkle from mambo beach & if so can you rent snorkling equipment at the beach?
Rent-A-Guide Posted August 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2006 HI doones2, Curaçao is a "reef island", meaning that you can do shore snorkeling/diving all around it, specifically on the south coast. Depending on your snorkeling experiences you will consider some areas good, interesting or exceptional. At the Mambo beach you will be snorkeling at the water breakers and there is nearly no corals but you will see a lot of fish. There is a dive shop that will rent you equipment.
