Price of taxi in Santorini please

Can any one tell me the cost of a taxi from Fira to Oia as all reports I have read Oia is well worth a visit. We leave on Sunday and really looking forward to the trip

Hi - you might want to do a search now that it's working :) But I seem to remember reading on the Europe Board it being about 10 Euro. It certainly wasn't a big amount. And the bus is super cheap and is pretty reliable.

When I saw the name "Santorini" on the board it caught my eye. Our daughter did a term abroad last year in Greece and we went over to visit her. We spent 2 days in Santorini. I can't help you with the taxi question but I will say that Santorini was the absolute highlight of our trip to Greece. We ate at a wonderful restaurant in Oia called the 1800 Restaurant. It was in a beautiful setting and we had a great meal. I'm guessing that you are taking a cruise and may not have time or inclination for a dinner out but if you do, I recommend that restaurant. Oia has wonderful shops and is known for it's beautiful sunset over the Caldera, as I'm sure you already know. So don't miss the sunset if you are there at that time.
