hyp121 Posted August 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2006 I booked a cabin on Dawn Princess and I just realized that the cabin is 2 cabins away from the back entrance of the casino. I'm worried about the noise level. Has anyone ever stayed in a cabin close to the casino on the Dawn?

I'm worried about the noise level. Has anyone ever stayed in a cabin close to the casino on the Dawn? If you are not into the casino at all than it may bother you. Overall the noise isn't bad from my experience. The great thing about Deck 8 (pizza deck) is you'll have great access to the pizzeria and to the public areas on Deck 7. DougH Posted August 24, 2006 #4 Share Posted August 24, 2006 I've sailed in D606 on the opposite side of the ship. No noise at all from the casino but cabin is fully obstructed, only view is directly thru the lifeboat. Great location though. FYI I'm booked in D604 in Oct and have also sailed in D617. DougH Posted August 25, 2006 #6 Share Posted August 25, 2006 Be sure and try the Pizzeria, one of my favorite things about the Sun class ships. Don't really worry about the menu, just tell them what toppings you want. Make sure you visit for dinner at least once, extra items on the menu and a nice change of pace from the dining room. Also remember that there are two forward open decks on Aloha and Baja, great viewing spots a lot of people miss. Doug
