Question re:upgrades from inexperienced cruiser

Recommended Posts

Please excuse what may seem like a silly question to those with more experience . . . but here goes.

When speaking of upgrades, do they only happen to people who have booked directly with RCCL or do people who book through a TA also find themselves visited by the always welcomed "Upgrade Fairy"?

Thanks for your response, it was just what I was wondering. We took our first cruise in April 06 with another couple so we wouldn't have wanted our room location changed as we wanted to be near each other. However I've just booked a 50th Birthday cruise for DH in March 07, just the two of us and though I am completely happy with our balcony room on Deck 9 I was wondered if it was possible that we might receive a "visit" even though we booked through a TA.
